Pensacola's Top Healthcare Leaders Discuss Lessons Learned in Pandemic Response

The presidents and CEOs of Pensacola's three major hospitals have begun texting each other during the coronavirus pandemic to stay in touch.

Like many business leaders, they've found it easier to pivot and adapt when they share their experience with trusted colleagues.

The presidents as well as other healthcare leaders on Friday participated in a virtual round table hosted by the University of West Florida to discuss lessons learned from the challenges brought about by the pandemic.  Read more here.

 

Florida’s Top Business Regulator Starts Meetings with Bars and Breweries

Florida’s top business regulator was meeting with bar and brewery owners Friday in Jacksonville to talk about how to reopen their businesses amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“We will come up with a Safe, Smart and Step-by-step plan based on input, science and relative facts on how to reopen as soon as possible,” Halsey Beshears, Department of Business and Professional Regulation secretary, posted on Twitter on July 25.  Read more here.
