Governor DeSantis Warns of Budget Vetoes

In a warning that likely made many of the state's lobbyists weak-kneed, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday acknowledged in stark terms that the coronavirus pandemic will shrink the 2020-21 state budget.

The Republican governor spoke at a late afternoon Capitol news conference to address his administration's ongoing response to COVID-19.
