Disaster Preparedness and Response
Preparedness & Response to Storms
Escambia County faces many potential natural disasters (hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, lightning and flooding) each year. It is important that residents and businesses are prepared and have a plan for what to do in case of a natural disaster.

EOC Management Operations Desk ESF 18
The Greater Pensacola Chamber supports the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in the event of a disaster, acting as an important link between business resources and business needs immediately before, during and after an event. The Chamber works closely with other support functions as well, to restore commerce as quickly as possible.
As a part of the State Emergency Response Team, Emergency Support Function 18 (ESF 18) covers the response activities for Business and Industry at the EOC.
